TITLE: Network Architect

DURATION: No less than a 6 month contract

LOCATION: Remote, only EST and CST candidates

MUST HAVES: ( need a brief explanation on these must have skillsets before submitting the resume)

 

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 15 + years of hands-on Network Engineering with the last 5 years doing Network Architecture work.  
3. Must have Enterprise Network experience.  Companies with 4K employees or more.
4. OT security, (Operational Technology) security
5. VeloCloud, SDWAN or other SDWAN vendor product experience. 
6. Migrating from one SDWAN vendor product to another. 
7. M&A experience, they are adding 1 company they have bought to their network every two months
8. Familiar with Python and PowerShell for scripting
9. Azure Cloud
10. 3rd level support as needed, experience with ServiceNow ticketing
11. Offer network suggestions and recommendations in a supportive, non-intrusive way.
12. Remote troubleshooting of routers/switches

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
• Analyze network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Provide technical support to users and team members.
• Assist with the changing of SDWAN providers.
