Cloud Tech Lead (8+ years of experience)

 

• Thorough understanding of distributed systems architecture and exposure to multiple technical disciplines such as High-Availability, Redundancy, Clustering, Disaster Recovery, Load Balancing etc.
• Excellent knowledge of atleast one public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) including thorough understanding of services offered and end to end implementation experience.
• Strong experience of cloud native principles and leading teams in building containerized applications on Kubernetes hosted in AWS or GCP platform.
• Previous experience with large scale migration of workloads from on-prem to public cloud platforms.
• Experience in setting up Kubernetes clusters in a multi-cloud ecosystem serving multiple lines of businesses and channels.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and previous experience on building and using CI/CD pipelines for applications on public cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Experience with service mesh architecture and hands on experience in deploying and leveraging service mesh.
• Previous experience in building stateless and auto-scaling applications.
• Experience with Terraform in automating infrastructure provisioning for cloud.
• Hands on working experience with relational database such as Oracle and No-SQL database such as Mongo DB. Knowledge of Cloud databases would be added advantage.
• Good understanding of programming language such as Java and architecture/design patterns for cloud application development.
• Excellent problem solving skills. Able to analyze complex issues using data at hand and suggest optimal solutions.
• Collaborate and partner with clients – both technical and business and work towards successful implementation of the transformation program.
• Mentor other developers in the team on technical issues and act as Cloud champion within the group.
