JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB TITLE – Production Support with Cloud JOB LOCATION – NYC, NY, USA TYPE OF JOB/EMPLOYMENT – Hybrid & C2C Job Role. TYPE OF JOB JOINING – Urgent/Immediate.
Skills & Requirements:
1. Analyze and document current state and future state workflows for Investment teams 2. Develop technical solutions for investment systems 3. Produce efficient and elegant code based on business requirements 4. Interpret business requirements and specs, and recommend best business practices and solutions 5. Production support for trading systems and data feeds 6. Perform detailed data analysis and validation 7. Work closely with Internal developers on production issues and enhancement requests 8. Assist with preparation, coordination, and execution of User Acceptance Testing 9. Design workflows for new data feeds and processes 10. Manage and work on multiple projects 11. Manage the prioritization, logging and tracking of user related issues, defects, enhancements, and work requests 12. Troubleshoots priority incidents, facilitates blameless post-mortems, and ensures permanent closure of the incidents 13. Engages with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes. 14. Identifies application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives. 15. Designs best in class monitoring frameworks to accomplish end to end flow monitoring and noiseless alerting 16. Designs automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions. 17. Manages their own effort or teams’ efforts between operational work and engineering work, optimizing for efficiency 18. Be part of the 24x7 support coverage as needed
Job Requirements: 1. Undergraduate degree in finance, technology discipline or equivalent experience 2. Prior experience implementing or supporting a large OMS (Aladdin, CRD, AIM, etc) 3. Expert in at least one technology stack with designing, coding, testing, delivering software 4. Expert practitioner in one or more technology domains, may be a cross domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm 5. Working knowledge of infrastructure components. (E.g., Routers, load balancers , cloud products , container systems , compute, storage, and networks) 6. Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills 7. Experience with SysOps. 8. Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred. 9. 1-2 years’ experience in the financial services industry 10. Strong Excel skills 11. Strong C#, Python, Shell scripting, Java skills 12. Strong analytical skills 13. Strong SQL skills 14. Excellent verbal and written skills 15. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision 16. A demonstrated track record handling demanding user groups 17. Expert in in performance monitoring and capacity management of large systems using various tools 18. Capable of working in Agile mode and proficient in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery 19. Tools used: Microsoft Office, Visio, ESP Enterprise Scheduler, SQL Server Management Studio, JIRA, Autosys, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics, Apica, GitHub.
