Job Description:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.).
• Must have worked on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like compute engine, cloud load balancing, cloud storage, cloud SQL, stack driver monitoring and cloud deployment manager.
• Experience in setting-up a GCP Firewall rules to allow or deny traffic to and from the VM's instances based on specified configuration and used GCP cloud CDN (content delivery network) to deliver content from GCP cache locations drastically improving user experience and latency.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) on GCP.
• Strong understanding of Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in scripting languages/Markup languages such as Python, Bash, or Yaml/Json.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Terraform Certification) are a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with other CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or CircleCI.
