Location: Plano, TX

Note: Candidates must relocate & should be comfortable for Day 1 Onsite
Job Responsibilities:
The Product Owner (PO) defines and improves technology products to satisfy evolving customer needs through collaborative partnership with engineering, development and operational roles. The PO manages the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
This includes:
· Contributing to product strategy and innovation initiatives by defining a vision for the team's products, developing product roadmaps, project execution plans
· Prioritizing, leading, and executing on those plans
· Understanding the underlying business process, creating user stories, training / user guides
· Delivering end-to-end solutions using Agile methodology for technology product creation, management of product back log and prioritization, testing, and defect tracking
· Facilitating and participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
· Acting as an advocate for FORCAST team members ensuring project scope definition meets business objectives and business case / cost benefit analysis is in line with those objectives
· Collaborating with FORECAST team members and other key stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
· Focusing communication for the intended audience
Qualifications
· 5+ years relevant work experience in financial services, product ownership, internal consulting team, or other demonstrated experience of product/project management experience required
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to multi-task, apply critical thinking, sound decision making and focus on outcomes
· Experience in conflict management - can negotiate and drive desired business outcomes based on strong cross-functional relationships
· Experience in the management of concurrent initiatives
· Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging deadlines and changing priorities
· Strong skills in Project Management, interpersonal relationships, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to work independently
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – must be able to create process flows using Visio; must be able to use Excel to analyze data/numbers and tell a story via charts and graphs with the results; should be familiar with Project and have an ability to design and maintain SharePoint for team collaboration and project artifacts
· College Degree required (BA or BS)
· Prior experience in the financial industry with Operational Risk will allow the prospective candidate to hit the ground running

· Project management – able to scope projects and create workable project plans. Candidate must be able to meet commitments and balance competing priorities

· Communications – possess strong written and oral executive-level communications skills
· Technology – possess sufficient knowledge of emerging technologies, such as robotics and machine learning, to identify opportunities to apply them
· Leadership – able to influence senior leaders to achieve a common goal or take a common approach
· Detail-oriented – possess a high level of attention to detail and quality for their work product
