Role: Oracle Fusion Technical Developer

Location: NYC, NY/ NJ (looking for local candidate)

Duration: 6 months (Contract)

 

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, including custom development, integration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Applications. You will be responsible for the technical design, development, and support of Oracle Fusion-based applications and integrations, working closely with functional consultants and other technical teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM etc.).
  • Work on Oracle Fusion Application configurations, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and manage integrations using Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and other Oracle integration tools.
  • Work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related tools for efficient management of cloud-based applications.
  • Perform system analysis, design, and code development while ensuring that the technical solution aligns with best practices.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and user interfaces using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, or Oracle ADF.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and provide technical support during user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Optimize performance and ensure the reliability and scalability of the Fusion applications.
  • Provide technical leadership.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, including Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion Applications, including ERP, HCM modules.
  • Expertise in Java, PL/SQL, ADF (Application Development Framework), and Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion personalization framework.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud integration technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, XML, XSLT, and related integration protocols.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Application security concepts and role-based access.
  • Experience with Oracle FBDI and processing interfaced data.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and performance tuning for Oracle Fusion Applications and Middleware.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (Oracle 12c, 19c) and experience in writing complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle Cloud certifications (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle ERP Cloud, etc.) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in agile software development environments
  • Experience with Oracle BPM.
  • Experience with other Oracle Cloud solutions such as Oracle Financials Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, or Oracle Procurement Cloud.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

Work Environment:

  • The position may require occasional travel to client sites.
