GCP Engineer for Cloud team

12+ months contract

Phoenix, AZ (Day one Onsite)

 

 

Years of Experience: 6+

Skills required : GCP (VPC, Compute Engine, PSC, VPN, GKE, IAM, Monitoring, Logging, LB, DNS, firewalls, routes, CLI)
GCP Services (knowledge on PubSub, GCS, SQL, MemoryStore, & any others), GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Incident Management, Production Support

 

Primary skills are:

• Experience in Google Cloud Platform ( GCP ), especially Google Kubernetes Engine ( GKE ) 
• Understanding of cloud networking, VPC, and cloud storage solutions on GCP. 
• Knowledge on GCP services ( pubsub/memstore,big query/cloudrun/cloud functions etc ) is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as code ( Iac)
• Knowledge of container orchestration, Kubernetes & Docker. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools ( eg. Jenkins, Gitlab ) and automated deployment pipelines. 
• Knowledge of running and writing Ansible scripts
• Proficient in monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus or Grafana. 
• Working experience in incident management tool such as Service Now
