Position : SAP EMS Developer (Entitlement Management System)
Location : Onsite Santa Clara, CA
Experience : 8 years
Client : Direct Client

This position reports to: Manager, Entitlements Engineering

Job Duties:
Perform simple and complex configurations on the SAP EMS platform to create, update and inactivate entitlements
Setup new offerings in EMS and map them to entitlement models and update existing entitlements
Formulate solutions in SAP EMS based on business use cases which are a combination of configurations            and customizations
Setup customer master data within EMS
Write test scripts, performing unit tests and performing peer review
Create new entitlement models, associate offerings and create associated rule sets
Assist with the integration of SAP EMS with SAP BRIM by ensuring SAP EMS configurations are aligned with data coming from SAP BRIM
Write python scripts that will be used to execute complex operations on SAP EMS
Configure SAP EMS events that will be consumed by downstream systems
Assist with large sale data setups, data migrations, data corrections in SAP EMS
Get trained and adhere to the ServiceNow devops process

Requirements:
·        Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
·        Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, SQL and REST APIs
·        Prior experience of working with platforms and knowing where to configure vs where to code is a plus
·        Prior SAP EMS experience is a plus
·        Can use Eclipse IDE, GIT, Maven, Ant and Jenkins or equivalent or work with those that do
·        Knowledge of agile methodologies and ceremonies

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Technical Lead/Programmer to drive innovation and support our continued growth. This critical role involves researching and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity across our organization. As a detailed planner, expert communicator, and skilled analyst, the ideal candidate will help shape the future of our financial systems and processes.

 

Objectives of this role:

Drive awareness of requirements in Finance ERP operations across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data and design better system processes to overcome deficiencies:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Financial systems and solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Research and recommend innovative solutions to improve financial operations and efficiency.

• Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality.

• Develop and maintain documentation for systems architecture and technical processes.

• Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: Business Operations, Customer Service, Sales & Finance) to develop analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.

• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.

• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.

• Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.

• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.

 

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong Experience in ERP Financials (Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Credit Collections, Revenue Recognition, Taxation and General Ledger)

• Experience in Accounting (Revenue, Cost and Deferral) is must

• Experience with ERP systems Process specifically in Finance/Supply chain Logistics preferred.

• High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Above average skills in SQL & PL/SQL

• Accounting foundation knowledge to understand business processes and to interpret reports.

• Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.

• Proven ability to manage projects and user testing.

• Extensive experience with data visualization

• Ability to use analytical skills to divide and simplify complex business problems into simple and manageable ones.

• Strong business analyst skills and ability to collaborate in person and virtual environments

• Ability to document and present problems and solutions.

• Proven ability to manage projects and user testing.

• Self-starter, detail oriented and ability to learn new applications, tools and business processes.

• 5 years prior business process design experience, focusing on process improvement.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
