Job Description:-

 

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect/Engineer (Fabric) who can enhance our platform using modern technologies while ensuring reliable and high-performance operations. Your daily routine will include participating in standup meetings, managing work items based on your capacity, and collaborating with the team's Program Managers to engage in development activities. In addition to traditional Data Engineering tasks, you will directly interact with the client on architecting the whole solution and defining best practices and guidelines. This specific role is primarily for the migration of existing Oracle & QlikView reports to the Fabric platform. 

 

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Architecture: Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring alignment with client business goals and technical requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Led the technical delivery of data projects, guiding development teams in implementing solutions based on the designed architecture.
• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide expert advice, and recommend best practices for leveraging Microsoft Fabric in their data strategy.
• Data Integration: Architect solutions that integrate data from various sources into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Advanced Analytics: Design and implement advanced analytics solutions, including data warehousing, real-time analytics, and machine learning, using Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft technologies.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging Microsoft Fabric's capabilities.
• Documentation: Create detailed architectural documentation, including technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and implementation guides.

 

Required/Minimum Skillset

• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, automation, analytics, and related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory).
• Architecture and Design: Experience designing scalable and efficient data architectures, with a strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Working experience on Azure data factory or synapse, ADLS, SQL, Azure data bricks, Event Hub
• Experience using a work management tool such as Azure DevOps
• Programming languages such as Pyspark, DAX, MDX, SQL, Python
• Extensive knowledge of IAM, setting up the platform, and understanding of how data transfer between Fabric services will work.
• Identity & access management, roles, groups, and policies.
• Conceptual knowledge of Azure, AWS cloud architecture, or any Cloud SaaS experience
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Project Leadership: Experience leading technical teams and managing the delivery of complex data projects from conception to completion.
• Client Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated to interact with clients at all levels and provide strategic insights.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance, and scalability.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry best practices in data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in cloud-based data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 Fabric & Azure data factory implementation required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering work.
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work.
• OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience as a Data Engineer manipulating and transforming data in Spark SQL, PySpark, or Spark Scala.
• OR 1+ years experience manipulating and transforming data in T-SQL.

1+ years of experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
