Position Title: OCI Cloud Database Administrator
Location –Remote (Candidate should be fine to work in any time zone)
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OCI Cloud Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Database technologies, OCI infrastructure, and be proficient in managing complex database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle Database Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on OCI.
- Perform database backups and recovery operations.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Apply database patches and upgrades.
- OCI Infrastructure:
- Provision and manage OCI resources, including compute instances, storage, and networking.
- Configure OCI networking components (e.g., Virtual Cloud Networks, Security Lists, Route Tables).
- Implement OCI security best practices.
- Database Design and Development:
- Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
- Create and maintain database objects, such as tables, indexes, and views.
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
- Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions on OCI.
- Configure Oracle Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC) on OCI.
- Conduct regular DR drills and failover tests.
- Performance Tuning:
- Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize database queries and indexes.
- Monitor database resource utilization and adjust configuration settings as needed.
- Security:
- Implement and maintain database security best practices, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking.
- Stay up-to-date on security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Automation:
- Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible).
- Implement automation tools to improve efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database technologies, including RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Experience with OCI infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP, OCM)
- Experience with OCI certifications
- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
Position Title: Sr. Windows Engineer - Azure Architect - MS SQL
Location – Remote (Candidate should be fine to work in any time zone)
Note: Look for Windows Engineer with Azure and MS SQL or Azure Infrastructure engineer with Windows Server and SQL Server experience.

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Windows Engineer - Azure Architect - MS SQL to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- Configure and optimize virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure resources.
- Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policies, and access controls.
- Migrate workloads to Azure and optimize for cost-effectiveness and performance.
Windows Server:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems.
- Manage Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server-related issues.
MS SQL Server:
- Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Perform database backups, restores, and recovery operations.
- Optimize database performance and query performance.
- Implement and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and Database Mirroring.
- Secure SQL Server databases and implement data protection measures.
Automation and Scripting:
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform.
Security:
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Stay up-to-date on security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure, and SQL Server.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: SQL Server) preferred.
