We are looking for Senior/Lead Spark3 developer in Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid Onsite - 3 Days/Week) – Local candidates are preferred.

 

 

Senior/Lead Spark3 Developer Position - Columbus, OH ! -12+ years

Location: Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid Onsite - 3 Days/Week) – Local candidates preferred.

Duration: 6 Months Plus

Start: Immediate

 

Description:

·       We are looking for a software Engineer skilled in the conversion of Cascading/MapReduce to Spark.

·       This individual will be responsible for migrating Big Data workloads to Kubernetes/Spark 3.

·       This will lead to the conversion of Cascading/MapReduce to Spark 3.

·       We will be touching the code daily within the IntelliJ IDE...doing Scala code reviews, making coding changes needed for the Scala/Spark upgrade, designing the new Kubernetes environment, etc.
