Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change and configuration management processes and procedures for Ab Initio jobs.
- Define and maintain configuration baselines
- Coordinate and facilitate change control board meetings to review and approve proposed changes
- Ensure that changes are implemented in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to project timelines and deliverables
- CM validation and approval for code promotion across environments.
- Maintain the CM repository and integrity of the data in CM Repo.
- Monitor unauthorized edits in change-controlled environments.
- Collect and publish audit reports from CM repository.
- Prepare and publish release tag deployment sequence report.
- Post deployment validation for PLT and Production releases.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on change and configuration management best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of relevant experience in Version control tools, Change Management and Configuration Management.
- Proven experience in change and configuration management, in Ab Initio environment
- Expertise in GDE, Co>Operating system, EME, Control>Center, Conduct>IT, Express >IT, DQA, Meta Data Hub (MDH), Query>IT
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Strong Experience with configuration management tools – Github
- Proficiency in Unix scripting and working in Unix and Unix (AIX) Operating Systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
