Job Description:

Lead Test Engineer Mandatory Skills Telecom Billing Knowledge, Automation & Manual Testing Optional Skills Java, JIRA, Database Queries

 
• 8 plus years of relevant experience
• 4 plus years of experience in Software Testing and Automation Testing on Web/API
• 2 Plus years of experience as Test Lead/Manager
• Experience in Telecom Billing domain
• Expert in automation testing framework development
• Good Knowledge on Java programming language
• Good understanding of Test methodologies.
• Able to support Billing and API integration testing
• Able to lead the team in terms of prioritization , assignment , reports.
• Ex Comcast experience will be an advantage.
• This position requires to be Onsite 3 days a week in Office
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with project customers to identify product and technical requirements
• Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
• Work with the QA team in developing a QA testing strategy for the project, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, functional/performance/load, and so on).
• Create test plans, identify testing scenarios, test cases, test data, and report defects
• Identify and define quality improvement factors
• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the product and applications
• Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests
• Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
• Coordinate with the Offshore team and other technical team members
• Prepare QA certificates and support release activities
• Report status and QE matrices with the client stakeholders and UST leadership
• Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
• Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
• Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
