Requirements
5+ years of experience with Core Java, Java 1.7 or above, J2EE, JPA/EJB, Spring Framework, Docker, Oracle, PL/SQL, GIT, and JIRA
5+ years of experience developing and deploying applications leveraging native cloud platform services from Azure, GCP, or AWS
3+ years of experience with messaging technologies like JMS, AMPQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Active MQ
3+ years of experience designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs, and documenting with Swagger and OpenAPI specification
Comprehensive SQL and PL/SQL development experience, with advanced knowledge of high-performance, optimized-for-concurrency database design, development, and implementation
Experience leveraging automation technology for testing, building, and deploying code (CI/CD)
Experience collaborating with team members to secure data (HIPAA, PI, and PCI)
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external users
Typical Duties
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve in-house software applications and third-party systems within a complex fulfillment ecosystem
Lead the implementation of best practices and industry-recommended patterns to enhance the robustness, maintainability, and scalability of software applications and databases
Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation
Represent the team and product on inter-departmental initiatives involving multidisciplinary teams across the organization
Lead and mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes, and practices
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Focus on overall product quality and user experience
Provide development support, assistance, and resolution for escalations and issues, including off-hours
