We have an immediate need for Senior Hyperion / SQL consultant. 

This client needs someone with Retail industry experience. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hyperion / SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in SQL Server Enterprise (Version 16 and above), SSIS, and extensive experience in the retail sector managing high volumes of stores. Additionally, proficiency in Cloud Hyperion Essbase, Cloud Hyperion Planning, PowerShell scripting, and VBA code is essential for this role.

This is what they need to have expertise in.

• SQL Server Enterprise   - Version 16 and or above
• SSIS
• Retail experience with high volume of stores
• Cloud Hyperion Essbase
• Cloud Hyperion planning
• Scripting -   Power Shell
• VBA code  

Interview Process: 1 interview to offer.
Must Haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SQL Server Enterprise (Version 16 and above).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with Cloud Hyperion Essbase and Cloud Hyperion Planning.
• Extensive experience with SSIS for ETL processes.
• Proven experience in the retail sector, particularly with high-volume store data.
• Expert knowledge of SQL Server Enterprise and SSIS.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and VBA code.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and data requirements.
• Ability to manage and optimize large-scale databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize SQL Server Enterprise databases (Version 16 and above).
  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to support ETL processes.
• Hyperion Management:
  • Administer and manage Cloud Hyperion Essbase and Cloud Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Develop and maintain Hyperion reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Retail Systems Management:
  • Work with high-volume retail data, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Implement solutions tailored to retail operations with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Scripting and Automation:
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell for automation of routine tasks and data processes.
  • Write and maintain VBA code for custom applications and tools.
• Collaboration and Support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and IT staff to understand and fulfill data and reporting needs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database and Hyperion-related issues.
