Position: Payroll Consultant
Location: Alexandria, VA - HYBRID (3 days a week) (Can Accept candidates from all over USA who are willing to relocate)

Job Description:

Resource to provide support for Payroll by examining the current time entry and payroll processes and providing recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.

• Work with payroll team on developing improvements
• Updating and revising the processing playbooks/procedures related to Kronos Workforce Central as well as the PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Payroll modules
• Develop analytical reporting and metrics to improve the payroll process inclusive of payroll related tickets entered into CA Service Desk help desk solutions
• Review and strength controls around the historical correction process
• Document the historical correction process
• Resource must have a good working knowledge and experience with Kronos Workforce Central and PeopleSoft Payroll
• Has an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and is a licensed CPA.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a manager level related to engagements for the public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local governments or in another specialized area as defined by a task order.
