Doesn’t care where they are located as long as they will relocate and be onsite.
This person will work with multiple agencies b/c the app is used by many state agencies
This person needs to master the app - is a query tool to get things such as juvenile data - connects to dept of social services, etc.
This is an information/data seeking endeavor – will take at least 6 months of data analysis
Lean toward Agile
Trying to figure out what’s possible and what they can do – will determine if they can implement new features, enhancing features, look at who will be able to do this data exchange
The app is old
Also have a new case mgt system they’ve been developing in-house and they want to determine if these 2 apps should be integrated or stay standalone.
Upgrading an existing app and will be upgrading other things as well
Communication skills are key – will be dealing with a variety of people with a variety of backgrounds
Must have strong documentation skills
Must know Oracle databases and PL/SQL
Qualifications:
Oracle databases and PL/SQL
Systems analysis, design, testing and documentation.
General operating principles and capabilities of computer hardware and software.
Ability to prepare and interpret functional and technical specifications – requirements gathering and translating
Stakeholder Management duties

Use cases and Business Process Modeling
Agile/Kanban
Ability to analyze procedures and operations; organize their component parts into system specifications and adapt them to an automated system.
Ability to communicate effectively. Attention to detail.
Work to be performed:
Become knowledgeable about the existing Missouri Juvenile Justice Information System (MOJJIS). Will be asked to meet with various judicial staff, as well as several other state agencies, to define potential enhancements to the MOJJIS system, what would be involved to implement the enhancements, and potentially develop requirement specifications for said enhancements.
