· Location: Hybrid Remote, in Greater Dallas, 2 days per week on site, is the major preference, if you have Someone in Texas, that might work, but aim for Dallas
MUST HAVE’s:
§ 4+ years of experience in information Technology / Security, with a focus on Vulnerability & Threat management (For the Senior role)(less for mid-level)
§ Exposure to Systems Administration experience with the ability to support application updates, if needed
§ At least 1 Relevant certification such as COMPTIA, CEH, GIAC, or related security Certs
§ Familiarity with the CVE Program and utilization of the CVE catalog
§ Experience Performing vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, prioritization and coordination activities, such as, schedule, conduct, and regularly review vulnerability scans, analyze for key risks and coordinate remediation efforts with remediation teams across organizations.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation Senior Analysts to join our organization. The IT function at Digital Realty takes responsibility to manage and secure some of the world’s most critical infrastructure on behalf of our customers. As the Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for leading our vulnerability assessment and remediation collaboration efforts, ensuring the security of our systems, networks, and applications.
Responsibilities:
§ Perform vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, prioritization and coordination activities, such as, schedule, conduct, and regularly review vulnerability scans, analyze for key risks and coordinate remediation efforts with remediation teams across the organization.
§ Action and lead response strategies in our organization and provide relevant reporting to stakeholders.
§ Collaborate across the enterprise to drive remediation activities.
§ Support the enforcement of established Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) policies and procedures.
§ Facilitate policy exception handling.
§ Collaborate with the security scanning and detection team to prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk factors and develop remediation plans.
§ Track and monitor the progress of remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
§ Stay abreast of the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, integrating threat intelligence into vulnerability assessment processes to enhance analysis and prioritization of vulnerabilities.
§ Provide support to incident response teams during security incidents.
§ Generate regular reports on vulnerability management activities, including scan results, remediation progress, and key performance indicators.
§ Familiarity with attack and exploitation techniques involving operating systems, applications, and devices commonly seen in an enterprise environment.
§ Support Application Owners with remediation tasks such as running application updates, if needed.
§ Support provide of training, informational, and educational materials to impacted employees and teams.
Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related experience.
§ 5+ years of experience in information Technology or Security, with a focus on vulnerability management (For the Senior role)(less for mid-level)
§ Systems Administration experience with the ability to support application updates, if needed.
§ Knowledge of IT architecture and operations (computing, network, storage and cloud)
§ Familiarity with Operational Technology, such as, Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV Cameras, DCIM, PME is a bonus but not required.
§ Ability to build a strong security culture mindset framed by risk management and operational consistency across technical teams and business units.
§ Exceptional project management, multitasking and organizational skills.
§ Relevant certifications such as CEH, GIAC, etc., are highly desirable.
§ Familiarity with the CVE Program and utilization of the CVE catalog.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other Microsoft Tools
