Position: One Source, Tax Consultant
Location: Hoboken, NJ ( Remote)
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their unique tax needs and financial goals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations through ongoing research and professional development.
- Maintain clear and concise client records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- May utilize tax software programs to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with other professionals within the firm, such as accountants and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive client service.
- Analyze client tax data and prepare filings within the One Source platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Twelve (12) or more years of experience in accounting, taxation or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working within the One Source platform is a must.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with tax software programs a plus
