Position: IT Data Governance SME
Location: 100% Remote with occasional travel
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:
This position supports development of branch data analytics and greater sharing of public data for transparency and greater efficiency in sharing data.
The IT Data Governance SME will work with a cross-functional team (including JCIT, data stewards, subject matter experts and Court leaders) to create, test, and implement design standards for the Judicial Branch’s public-facing data dashboards.
Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications Required (in order of relative importance):
- Ability to conduct user research sessions, gather feedback from subject matter experts.
- Technical project management and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze issues from system documentation and recommend solutions.
- Experience creating policy or governance documents.
- Excellent oral, written, analytical and communication skills with the ability to lead a technical discussion with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and conflict resolution skills.
- Create templates to support key use cases for public dashboards using Power BI.
- Understanding of data automation and data pipelines
Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:
- Experience in government (State) setting.
- Excellent presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including creating and presenting executive summaries to management and technical committees
