Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience to lead our data architecture initiatives. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing organization's data architecture to support business objectives and requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, standards, and governance frameworks, and ensure align industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of the organization's data architecture, including data models, data integration strategies, and data management processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define data architecture standards and guidelines.
- Define and maintain data architecture principles, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and integrity across the organization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the organization's data architecture, including data models, data dictionaries, and data lineage diagrams.
- Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies to support the organization's data architecture needs.
- Lead data architecture reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on data architecture-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of data architecture solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or related roles, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or Power Designer.
- Experience with data management technologies such as data warehouses, data lakes, and big data platforms.
