Role – Service Now Business Analyst

Location – Seattle, WA / Dallas, TX, Kansas (Onsite day 1)

Required Skills: 

  • 9+ years' experience as a business analyst for Overall ServiceNow Core Platform.
  • Proficient in conducting organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and translating them to functional specifications.
  • demonstrates the ability to understand complex business and functional requirements.
  • Support business process re-engineering efforts to configure the system to meet new initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Perform a gap analysis of current/desired processes and ServiceNow OOB functionality.
  • To understand request processes to then define requirements for Service Catalog requests items.
  • ServiceNow Service Portal workshop and requirements gathering and design experience.
  • Introduce and educate customers as it relates to ITSM and ITIL best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency with user Agile story definition, acceptance criteria writing in addition to facilitating effective refinement sessions.
  • Good Understanding in Jira Application to create Stories and epics based on the Requirements.
  • Proficient in analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Coordinate and conduct working sessions to gather and document requirements.
  • Perform final validation of solution before submission to requester to run the User Acceptance Test.
  • Working with SMEs, Leads, Managers, Resources & Project/Delivery Manager (in case of specific inputs for solution) on finalizing the solution and estimates.
  • Managing the Q&A process (questions collection, consolidation, and Q&A facilitation with client).
  • Work with project/delivery managers to devise the timeline/schedule for executing the project.
