JD:

• Responsible for testing and validating different Wi-Fi hardware to ensure a quality product is released to the market.

• Have thorough knowledge in 802.11 standards - a/b/g/n/ac/ax,Wi-Fi security modes,Wi-Fi Mesh network,Wi-Fi 6e,Wi-Fi Performance - Throughput testing,Wireshark.

• Good hands on experience in scripting language(s).

• Collaborates with Engineers to identify, reproduce, prioritize, and document defects, bugs, or issues.

• Utilizes clearly defined standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accessibility and usability of company products.

• Assists product teams in gathering and analyzing data.

• Exhibits in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills with related wi-fi technologies.

• Consults with product teams to embed accessibility best practices, test strategies, and user experience solutions in the Agile development process.

• Maintains compliance documentation for reporting and record keeping purposes.

• Determines work priorities and executes testing with limited direction from manager.

• Fosters an inclusive culture and work environment.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

'-Writes and executes tests to validate the hardware products.

-Contributes to the development of high quality product/hardware. Identifies viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality.

-Collaborates with product and development teams to identify product and technical requirements.

-Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification.

-Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts.

-Participates in design, code and functional product reviews.

-Works with other Quality Assurance Engineers or Software Engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects.

-Assists in providing subject matter guidance and mentorship for other Quality Assurance Engineers.

-Provides leadership and consultation with regards to Wi-Fi best practices, procedures and techniques.

-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
