Job Description: We are seeking a skilled, experienced, outcomes-oriented snr. Data Governance Analyst (AI Speciality) to develop and implement activities that apply data management principles, methods, and automated techniques to manage the development of vector data sets and align those sets with traditional data models. Responsibilities include providing insight and appropriate design methods and team training to the development of the necessary data sets for Generative AI models. The development of appropriate vector data techniques to align traditional metadata from unstructured and structured data sources with vector data and assist in the selection and integration of cevtor data platforms with the data management techniques and platforms. Success int eh role will be measured by how effectively vector databases can be incorporated into the data management practices and the effectiveness of their use in supporting repeatable and well-managed vector data. Key Accountabilities: Perform as a member of a team in CDO organization, with a concentration on the implementation of Gen AI use cases. Fully understand and influence the definition and desired outcomes of emerging Gen AI use cases. Identify the appropriate methods and capabilities that can be effectively applied to producing utilizing and cataloging model data sets in vector format. Provide expert-level application of vector database capabilities and techniques including Understanding of vector spaces, their properties, and operations, linear algebra, information retrieval methods, and appropriate scaling approaches. Develop and nurture effective relationships and a partnership with leaders and staff in business, technology, data strategy, data governance, data architecture, data engineering and technology platforms ownership roles. Assist and provide expert insight into the selection of vector database software. Assist in the development of communities of practice – virtual organizations that meet regulatory to share ideas, best practice, and promote a culture where data are managed as an asset of the company. Assist in the evaluation and reporting of emerging industry trends and technologies relevant to data management. Skills and Experience required: Strong proficiency to analyse and understand business requirements, solve problems, and model current and future state business processes and data domains/entities. Expert level proficiency and demonstrated ability with database management with an emphasis on vector spaces and information retrieval.
