DURATION: 6 MONTHS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 YEARS MINIMUM
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Swift Engineer to join our team and help us develop a cutting-edge OTT streaming application. As a Senior Swift Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing new features and functionality for our iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS applications, ensuring that it is performant, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS streaming applications to deliver excellent user experiences on time and within budget.
- Design and implement new features and functionality using Swift, SwiftUI, and other related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features and improvements
- Write clean, well-organized, and maintainable code that is performant and scalable
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues reported by users or identified through testing
- Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, and network efficiency
- Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and other data sources into the application.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in iOS app development
- Mentor and guide junior developers in the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in iOS app development using Swift
- Experience in developing OTT streaming applications is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI
- Expert understanding of iOS frameworks and APIs such as UIKit, Foundation, and AVFoundation
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data parsing
- Familiarity with video codecs and streaming protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
