Role : Sitecore Lead 

Location : Fully Remote

Duration : 12 Months

 

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for planning release trains to be utilized by other product and go-to-market teams to release business features.
  • Ensure quality in all releases and make sure the security and compliance standards are met.
  • Responsible for collaborating with product teams to ensure Sitecore releases (new features) are strategically aligned with individual product roadmaps.
  • Define and govern platform security for Sitecore and AWS (cloud implementation). Responsible for building cyber-attack resiliency standards, plans, and architecture blueprints to support other product teams.
  • Platform Operations - Availability, Performance. It includes managing licenses for Sitecore, considering the demand from all product teams.
  • Responsible for creating integration toolkits to be used by other product and go-to-market teams.
  • Responsible for automating aspects of platform management (Sitecore, AWS) and reducing our dependency on external vendors. Knowledge of AWS, deep understanding of Sitecore (technical dept) , a good understanding of Software development life cycle, and some experience with release management.
  • Facilitate adoption of Global Service Center by building self-sufficient took-kits for testing/deployments in local development environments.
  • Enforce adoption of global components by building auto-checks for product releases
  • Responsible for building/researching tools and web frameworks to enable Amgen with highly scalable and flexible web applications.
  • Release managers will be responsible for planning schedules and will be the gatekeeper of the web build and delivery process.
  • He makes sure the project follows our standards, helps with governance.
  • Release managers will usually have a background in computer science or a related field with advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle. may also have a project management background. and understand Agile / Safe
  • Additionally, he/she will need to have a clear understanding of business needs and their priorities. They will also align software development with organizational goals, acting as an intermediary between tech and business teams, to effectively schedule builds and testing as well as create release plans.
