Job description:
GIS Developer
Location : REMOTE
visa : all ( no CPT OPT H1B)

MUST HAVE: 7+ years of GIS/ArcGIS Development
MUST HAVE: 5+ years of Javascript
MUST HAVE: 1+ years of Azure

Qualifications

5+ years' experience developing GIS applications with ESRI products

Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Server product suite (10.8 and up) and strong knowledge of ArcGIS Server client APIs

Strong relational database experience, Postgres and SQL Server a plus

Strong knowledge of JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3

Experience with publishing maps to ArcGIS Enterprise

Experience with ArcGIS Workflow Manager / JTX

Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript SDK and web app builder

Proficient in Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python

Proficient in Geoprocessing application with customization, GIS application upgrade

Extensive knowledge in ESRI Product suite, ArcGIS Server, Portal, ArcGIS Online

Good practice and design concept of GIS application architecture, GIS application lifecycle management

Experience in an Agile environment using agile methodologies and frameworks

Experience in API design, RESTful Web Services, Architecture, and Web standards

Experience with data migration and data manipulation with safe FME or other database ETL tools

Experience in performance tuning SDE Databases



Preferred Skills

Knowledge of ESRI implementation on Azure cloud

Advanced knowledge and experience with GIS industry

Hands on experience with the insurance domain in the GIS space

Analyzing, identifying, and resolving application performance challenges

Knowledge of unit, system, integration, and performance testing strategies

Understanding of branching strategies and experience with version control tools, preferably GIT

Experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET

Experience with AI/Client and computer vision methodologies

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and containerization a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related subject area; or equivalent work experience and training.
