Job description Role/Designation Infrastructure - VDI Consultant Education / Qualification Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Certification Any technical certification in Microsoft Technologies would be an advantage. No of years of experience 1) Total IT experience of 12 to 15 years. 2) 10+ years of experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technologies 3) 10+ years of experience in Security & Networking 4) 10+ years of experience in working with customers, architects and offshore teams. Team size handled (if any) This is an individual contributor role. However, the candidate should be a good team player. Primary Skills (Must have) 1) Experience envisioning and building resilient VDI solutions for enterprises 2) Deep understanding and experience implementing VDI solutions using Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and VMWare on Azure 3) Experience gathering business requirements (to be model, as is model, etc.) and building infrastructure and network design documents 4) Experience in working with clients IT teams to drive the product backlog Secondary skills (Good to have) 1) Knowledge of other Azure services, Active Directory, Exchange, and InTune 2) Exposure to presales activities would be an added value Job/Role Description The consultant will be responsible for reviewing client processes, re-engineering the client’s processes to improve efficiency, and performing functional tasks required for a successful implementation of enterprise VDI solutions. 1) Interact with prospects/clients to understand remote desktop requirements for internal and external uses and document the same 2) Demonstrate VDI solution capabilities to the client by building POCs 3) Build a comparison matrix to compare the capabilities of different VDI solutions 4) Conduct business process analysis and create a Fit/Gap report 5) Create a Solution design to address virtual desktop requirements within reasonable performance parameters and define security and access policies for apps 6) Advise on complex virtual desktop use cases and propose comprehensive solutions based on MS CRM, 3rd parties, and customizations 7) Create functional requirements and functional designs for customizations 8) Create estimates for implementation tasks 9) Provide VDI expertise to clients and mentor team members 10) Implement VDI solution and ensure apps can be accessed based on security policies defined 11) Conduct solution testing and assist with user acceptance testing Soft skills/other skills (If any) 1) Perform under minimal supervision and perform in changing environments 2) Excellent presentation and communication skills 3) Excellent written and verbal English language skills. 4) Works independently as well as in a team environment Regards, Himanshu Gupta VBeyond Corporation Executive-Recruitment(US Ops) E: himanshug1@vbeyond.com | www.vbeyond.com 390 Amwell Road, Suite # 107, Hillsborough, NJ 08844
