  • We are looking for someone who can
  • Work closely with our internal development teams and business partners to provide application and technical leadership, proactive analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of performance, availability, and reliability issues under the role of a Release Manager.

 

Required Skills:

  • Release managers will design release guidelines / schedules dates for the release that should be implemented across the teams.
  • Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
  • Configuring releases: Release managers will oversee the various aspects of a project before it is due to be deployed, ensuring all teams are on track and meeting the agreed guidelines by migrating all user stories from integration to QA, UAT, Staging and finally to Production
  • CI/CD setup: Release Manager is responsible for setting up CI / CD pipelines and ensure build are running successfully.
  • Emergency release: Facilitate emergency release to business when needed which fall outside of normal cycle.
  • Quality Checks: The quality of the release needs to be reviewed before a project is officially launched.
  • The release manager oversees ensuring Quality Assurance teams know the guidelines of the project and will check that these standards are met.
  • Deployment: After being quality checked, the project is ready to be deployed.
  • The release manager is still responsible for ensuring a project is rolled out smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure releases are delivered within budget & requirements.
  • Coordination: Manage relationships & co-ordinate projects between different teams. Establishes software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
  • Code coverage check: Ensure the production org is having a good code coverage for the changes that we push with each release. (>75% as per salesforce min standard).
  • Health Checks: Monitor the health check of the Production instance before and after every release & ensure it is meeting the standard set.
  • Schedule Sandbox refreshes: Plan and schedule sandbox refreshes periodically.
  • New User onboarding: Setting up new user and providing necessary training on tools and best practices that are put in place.
  • License maintenance: Release Manager manages the teams licensing for the following products: Azure DevOps, AutoRABIT, Checkmarx, Own Backup.
  • Position is 100% remote, working CST hours. -High likelihood of conversion for a good fit.
  • Experience in working in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
  • Experience with SDLC lifecycle with expertise in Release Management functions.
  • Experience with CI/CD environments.
  • Experience with some of AutoRABIT, Checkmarx, Own Backup

Certifications:

Salesforce Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder

Soft Skills

Team leadership experience, Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving

Experience with performance diagnostics, performance tuning, monitoring, and reporting
