Job Details

Mandatory Skills             

·        Must have expert knowledge of R&D IT systems with specialized knowledge of Medical Affairs IT systems.

·        Must have experience in drafting business cases for new initiatives.

·        Knowledge of R&D and Medical Affairs sub functional area.

·        Must be able to analyze business problems and identifying solutions.

 

Detailed JD

·        5-6 years’ experience as business analyst with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        The R&D IT Business Analyst (BA) good to have specialized knowledge of R&D and Medical Affairs sub functional area.

·        He/she will act as a bridge between the R&D Medical Affairs business function, the IT team and the product vendors in implementing new solutions for Otsuka Medical Affairs sub function.

·        He/she is responsible for analyzing business problems and identifying solutions that make efficient use of technology (architecture, tools, software application, etc.) to solve those problems. The focus of the analysis is on both business process requirements as well as information or data requirements.

·        The BA must have expert knowledge of R&D IT systems with specialized knowledge of Medical Affairs IT systems.

·        The BA is responsible for providing guidance for the development of new and existing system platforms that are being deployed to provide application-based solutions .

·        The BA is responsible for ensuring requirements, assumptions, dependencies, and risks for potential solutions to technical and business issues are assessed and documented        appropriately, for both new and previously established systems.

·        The BA must act as a consultant/advisor to the business for identifying and implementing best fitting industry solutions for Otsuka Medical Affairs business needs.

·        He/she must have experience in drafting business cases for new initiatives.

·        He/she must follow Otsuka validation process and Software Development Life Cycle and industry standard best practices.

·        The BA is responsible for data security and integrity of systems he manages the requirements of.
