Day 1 Onsite/ 2-3 Week RTTO/Hybrid

 

Mandatory Skills Required: Java, Spring, REST API, Microservices, AWS

Required Skills: 

  • BS in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field/experience
  • 7-20 years of professional software engineering experience with Java
  • Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable Java code
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework, a good understanding of REST API principles and best practices
  • Experience building Microservices
  • Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment
  • Experience developing in AWS Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Container (Docker) and Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of competence with Java software development
  • High degree of competence with Scala software development

 Desired (Good to have) Skills:

  • Familiarity with basic web application security concepts
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience writing/maintaining regression tests (using Fitnesse/Cucumber)
  • Experience and knowledge of Apache Spark
  • Good software development foundation (i.e. data structures, design patterns & principles)
  • Good grip on agile software development methodology (e.g. Scrum)
  • Curious, inquisitive, independent
