Position: Linux System Admin Location: Oaks ,PA Duration :- Long Term Contract JD :- We are looking for talented individual with strong background in Infrastructure (Linux+Windows) Architecture, Support, Automation, Problem solving, Project Management and day to day support across wide range of technologies. Individual should have strong emphasis on automating manual and repetitive tasks with good communication skill, quick learner and team player. Responsibilities: • Redhat Linux or similar with most recent versions of RHEL 7 and 8 • Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or similar automation tools • Bash, shell programming • Azure or AWS cloud knowledge (Azure preferred) • Perl, Python or similar programing languages exposure • Windows Servers 2012, 2016, 2019 management • Powershell knowledge and scripting • Windows AD based authentication for Linux and windows environment • Managing Cisco UCS physical hardware servers • oVirt/RHV KVM and VMware based virtualization technologies • Kubernetes and Docker container knowledge • Making sure env hosts are updated with latest patches, updates etc • Support various end clients for there requests and vetting right solutions • Storage migrations with minimal downtime and no impact • Day to day infrastructure management for 3000+ Linux (80%) and Windows (20%) hosts in 24x7 env (~80% are virtualized hosts) • Occasional weekend and on-call rotation support • Participation in regualr DR exercises at secondary data center • Managing infrastructure lifecycle Requirements: Preferably 8 years of experience in working in production and pre-production support or management required. Candidate must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively be able to provide direction and assistance with diagnostics and troubleshooting using critical problem solving techniques. Candidate must have hands on experience is working in a mixed infrastructure environment of Linux/Solaris/Windows. The candidate should demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills. Must have Strong team focus and client service work ethic. • Strong fundamental knowledge of Linux, Solaris and Windows operating systems. • Ability to design, build, deploy, document and troubleshoot issues within the Linux, Solaris and Windows stack and collaborate with Storage, Network and Application groups on infrastructure projects. • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and Windows Domain and DNS administration. • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESX. |
