urgent remote opening for Java Lead Developer

Position: Java Lead Developer

Location: Remote

Primary Tech Skills – 60%

Have experience on Java 8 or above
Must possess good experience Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful services, Swagger, Docker, Kubernetes technologies
Must possess experience working on logging frameworks like Splunk or ELK (ElasticSearch Logstash and Kibana) or Micrometers
Must possess working knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) and Continuous Deployment processes.
Must have exposure in any of the cloud solution architecture like GCP/AWS / Microsoft Azure
Must possess knowledge on distributed process caching tools like Redis or Hazel cast
Must have good hands-on knowledge of AWS including Lamba functions
Good to have experience on writing Junit test cases using mockito
Experience with JMS application is a plus (like Kafka or RabitMQ)
Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge
Experience in US Healthcare domain is preferable in HL7 messaging

Secondary Skills (UI)– 40%

Skilled with JavaScript Design Patterns / ES6 Standards
Experience of ReactJS or Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML/CSS, MS SQL Server and MySQL, Clojure (can be a plus)
Must have ability to understand the requirements and develop work products accordingly
Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment
Expert in JavaScript frameworks / libraries – Angular or React JS
Performing state management using NgRx
Well-versed with usage of UI widget library like Material UI or any equivalent
JavaScript unit test libraries especially Jasmine
Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable components
Knowledge of techniques for developing apps (Web – Mobile Hybrid) with good performance
Aware of environments/tools such as Chrome Developer tools, Sublime, Firebug, HTTP watch
Experience on using Node (as development platform) will be added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must have experience working on production support providing L2/ L3 support within the defined SLAs
Understand the requirements and develop work products accordingly
Collect and Provide estimates for the requirements
Work with various teams for problem management, fixing defects and providing overall support existing applications
Identify change requests and perform analysis / estimation for the same

Behavioral Skills:

Interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of virtual teams that deliver quality services
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on service offerings and products provided by IT
Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment
Proficient with software development methods like Agile
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
