Job Title: Snowflake Developer Location: New Jersey
Qualifications REQUIRED: - Lead all aspects of database security both at infrastructure and application level including recommending encryption, masking, and hashing where applicable.
- Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Define and automate DBA functions.
- Employ recovery methods and agile development with Time Travel & Cloning.
- Develop operational best practices, monitoring, defining SLAs, and measuring metrics.
- Define and document best practices and support procedures and help on call tea.
- Should have a good understanding of Snowflake architecture in detail - Database storage, Query Processing, cloud Services.
- Must have worked on user provisioning and access management (preferably automated).
- Should have worked on data platform cost, credit consumptions, and optimizing the cloud spend.
- Should know how to use of dedicated Virtual warehouse/ Multi-cluster Warehouse, partitioning, auto scaling, and auto clustering.
- Worked on Cache usage, Streams, SnowSQL, snowpipe, Secure Data sharing and automating data pipelines through Snowflake.
- Ability to automate using Advanced SQL and Python.
