Title: Incident Manager Location: Remote Duration: Long term Job Description: The Major Incident Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of all IT major incidents. Roles and Responsibilities: - Leading, driving, facilitating, and chairing all incidents including investigation activities, meetings, and conference calls
- Forming collaborative action plans with specific actions, roles, and deadlines, and ensuring these are completed
- Matrix management of people, processes and resources including third parties – including resolving conflict to move forward to resolution
- Being accountable for resolving the outage via workaround or permanent fix
- Ensuring all administration and reports are maintained and up to date, including contacts information, technical diagrams, post major incident reviews
- Providing periodic major incident metrics reports
- Providing regular updates and communications to key stakeholder management
- Ensuring incident management processes are followed and incident post-mortems are completed to capture process deviations and areas for improvements
Qualification Education - BS or equivalent + 6 yrs. related experience
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Preferred Skills - Strong interpersonal skills, communication, teamwork, and positive attitude
- Candidate must be a team player and can adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Must have excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills Must demonstrate the business value that processes provide and influence the service teams to effectively adopt and follow the processes on an ongoing basis.
