Title: PEGA Business Analyst

Location: 100% remote

Duration: Long Term

 

Requirements

A business analyst consultant works with clients to help them understand and document business requirements. These requirements can be part of an IT-related project or a process improvement initiative Responsibilities:

•            Works as part of a team to design, build, and support BPM applications for our clients

•            Works independently on business tasks

•            Gathers and analyse user requirements by working with end user clients

•            Communicates user requirements/needs to the development team

•            Serves as liaison between business client and developers

•            Able to clearly define project objectives and timelines to business and development teams 

•            Uses Agile product development process to organize and lead application development

•            Runs morning scrum calls with the business and development team

•            Updates and maintains project management portal to reflect current user requirements, process development stage, and future goals

•            Effectively run and manage release schedules

•            Ability to manage multiple projects and/or project teams – may include multiple clients

•            Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing various requests Candidate Requirements

•            Business process understanding and refinement - o Translate into Pega capabilities o  Identify root cause of problems and bottlenecks o              Identify personas and actors

•            Future state analysis and design o Identify specific business opportunities o    Map out the value stream – understand how the current process works o   Remove waste processes to create future state o      Remove waste and non-value added steps • Document gathering o      Gather, Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) o          Identify/Documents Points of Contact for upstream and downstream systems •     Influence stakeholders to support business projects o             Identify SME’s o            Product Owner, Project sponsor engagement

 •           Project management (schedule, resources, budget, scope)

•           Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes

•            Test business processes and recommend improvements

•            Positive attitude and self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge

•            Ability to problem solve • Good communication and interpersonal skills

•            3+ years of experience in PM/BA position

•            BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field

•            Expert in Agile product development process

•            SCRUM Master or PMP Certification

•            Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people
