Business Analyst duties and responsibilities   Review change backlog and prioritize requirements Provide a clear capacity-based roadmap with changes analyzed based on business priority, effort, and system design – with flexibility for the business stakeholders to change priorities. Provide full transparency to the business stakeholders regarding capacity utilization along with a milestone/date driven release prioritization process.  In case of project driven work, be a part of the project delivery time and provide the Project Manager with timely inputs regarding effort and produce deliverables as per plan. Conduct interviews, group workshops and surveys to define requirements for new functionality/ application enhancements Provide functional analysis and specification of requested changes including Enhancements resulting in a business requirements document Assess the potential for and recommending the re-engineering of business process and documenting the outcome Conduct a value assessment of functional requirements and generating an impact analysis, including affected systems, alternative design scenarios Where applicable, work with the development team to produce functional requirements documents, logical and physical data models; and context diagrams, use cases, system maps, and process maps Conduct design reviews as part of the sign-off process Create the system design document from the business and functional requirements Develop and recommend Application test plans (e.g. functional, volume, end-to-end, integration, stress, regression, system, and user acceptance test if applicable) Support the UAT process including the development and execution of the UAT test plan and use cases Assist in the development of training materials and coordinate training Business Analysis for all change requests   Business Analyst Requirements / qualifications/ Skillsets Previous working experience as a Business Analyst for 10+ years P&C Insurance Experience on Policy Admin Systems with Genius PAS working knowledge an added advantage. Knowledge of Insurance financial domain, SAP General Ledger system and knowledge of co-insurance business models SQL Syntax Query Language working knowledge In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles Strong Stakeholder Management Skills including Senior Management interactions across business and IT groups. Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to details
