Title : Senior Platform Software Engineer(Cybersecurity)
Location: Remote
Employment: Contract (remote)
Job Description:
• Experience in developing and commercializing software products in a fast-paced R&D environment, including understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• A minimum of a BS in a technical discipline, preferably software related: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. Master's degree in related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of a BS in a technical discipline, preferably software related: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. Master's degree in related discipline preferred.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on targets using modern C++ 11 or greater and demonstrated Object-Oriented design experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, QNX (x86 and/or Arm target), Linux and/or other RTOS, including related IDEs, SDKs, and DDKs
• Ability to distill software requirements from system requirements.
• Experience in the test-driven development methodology and unit test.
• Scripting in Windows Batch, PowerShell, Python, and relevant scripting languages
• Experience with DDS and/or other Transport layer communications protocols and related network experience (sockets, TCP/IP, UDP, Wireshark, etc.)
• Understanding and appreciation of SDLC process and tools (JIRA, Git, CMake, Bitbucket, Stash, Confluence, JAMA, etc.)
• Experience with authenticated and secure communications protocols
• Experience performing risk management analysis of software ideally using SW FMEA techniques
• Experience in software development in medical device industry or other regulated industry is preferred.
• Cybersecurity experience designing and maintaining secure OS and applications (SSL/TLS, DTLS, TPM, Trusted/Secure Boot, Root of Trust, Authentication, Encryption, Public/Private Key, Key/Certificate Management etc.)
• Experience Troubleshooting, Debugging, and Root Cause Analysis techniques and tools (WinDbg, GnuDbg, others)
