Role : Devops Engineer

Mode : Work From Home Option available because of Covid

Location : Richmond, VA

Must need 8+ years Experience:

We are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer with 8+ years of experience who can work as a Lead level managing DevOps team for a critical application in one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the organization.

Responsibilities

·         Designing and deploying scalable, highly available systems on AWS

·         Selecting the correct AWS service based on requirements

·         Design, build and deploy infrastructure definitions (IaC)

·         Help develop solution and enforce DevOps patterns and practices

·         Maintain process documentation, workflow and architectural diagrams

·         Support & guide DevOps engineers on their implementations

Required Skillsets

·         Experience with solution design within AWS public cloud

·         Experience in implementing DevOps automation with Terraform and Ansible following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concept

·         Solutions Design with Micro-Container platforms – ECS, Kubernetes (EKS / GKE)

·         Strong knowledge and experience in DevSecOps

·         Experience in working/administering and strong knowledge on Linux/Unix platform is a must

·         Common DevOps scripting languages (Python, BASH, etc.)

·         Understanding of Network, DNS, CDN, etc.

·         Familiarity within common Configuration Management practices

·         Great communication

 Preferred Skills

·         Experience in other public cloud – GCP, Azure

·         Familiarity with Agile methodology

·         Experience in Atlassian or similar DevOps tool set

·         Experience in end-to-end release automation with XLD/XLR or similar tools
