Role: Program Manager

Client: Walmart

Vendor: Apex

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Remote to start (onsite in Dallas in foreseeable future)

Target rate: $50/hr on C2C 

 

 

They are open to looking at Sr. Project Managers as well, who have strong experience working with engineering teams and customers, and preferably experience working on data migration or cloud migration projects.

Walmart is looking to bring on multiple Technical Program Managers to their Data / Global Tech team. This team supports top Walmart US initiatives, strategic initiatives dedicated to data strategy and insights, and also support domain and foundational areas – HR, Supply Chain, Health and Wellness. Program Managers will be focused on supporting domain and foundational areas.

 

Responsibilities / Requirements:

 

·        Will be responsible for supporting a single domain and own all of the data programs within that domain – Supply Chain, Merchandising, or Finance (2 PgM's per domain)

·        Core customer – data engineers

·        Help to drive company strategy and align teams

·        Roadmaps, risk/solution management

·        Agile / Scrum background – PI planning, releases, Jira, Confluence

·        Background in data preferred

·        Experience working with customers (merchants, supply chain team, etc) and with engineering teams

·        Must be able to understand data connections and bridge gaps between teams - domain area (supply chain, merchandising, finance, etc) and engineering teams

·        Experience with cloud migrations, implementation and releases, or data migrations highly preferred

·        Excellent communication and facilitation skills
