What we need is someone who integrates into the systems team, but recognizes that their prime directive is to build automated efficiencies that address practical need with both dev teams and end-users of the product as “customer”.

 

5 plus years of Professional experience automating configuration and deployment of enterprise product in an agile environment.  Work closely with development and production operations teams to ensure continuity across development, test and production methodology.  Experience with Infrastructure Automation, Linux systems administration,  

·         Infrastructure Automation / Cloud deployment tooling (Infrastructure as Code) 

o    Ansible (preferred), Terraform, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, Cassandra 

·         Linux-based system administration in cloud environment (Secure, scale, and manage) 

·         CI/CD build/test pipelines (Jenkins preferred) 

·         Version control systems (Git preferred) 

·         REST/Web services/App experience 

·         Decomposing monolithic architecture into cloud services 

·         Cloud Architecture 

·         Security, scalability concerns and distributed caching. 

 

Bonus  

·         Java experience 

·         Experience with SOA and/or microservices. 

·         Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience 

·         Postgres SQL chops (backwards compatible migrations, sharding, PG bouncer, query planning & high-availability)
