Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performing all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, and code development & testing
Designing and implementing product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
Design, develop and test reusable frameworks, libraries and Java components
Work with other engineers and teams to create and maintain dev-ops processes, application infrastructure and utilize cloud services
Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business
Expected to adapt in dynamic and collaborative work environment and make independent decision
Understand new product capabilities and decompose the implementation into specific functional changes for verification
Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
Collaborate with the scrum team to meet project timelines
Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
Mentor and guide other engineers within the team
Perform comprehensive testing of product distributions prior to release
- Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of enterprise applications
3+ years of experience with Java technology development stack (Java 8 +, Spring Boot, Angular JS, React, etc.)
2+ years hands-on expertise with building Micro Services
1+ years building and deploying Cloud based solutions - Azure/AWS
1+ years Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, HBase, Spark (Design, Development, Test, Deploy on Production Hadoop cluster), demonstrating ability to segment and organize data from disparate sources and knowledge of data security and encryption models is desirable
Experience with Shell scripting
Experience with Docker and Open Shift technologies
- Experience with CI/CD process and tools – Jenkins - JPAC, Automation, GIT, Artifactory, Fortify Scan, Sonar Cube
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kafka or other even streaming technologies
Experience delivering software using an Agile/Scrum methodology (Agile Central, Rally)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Global team experience
Healthcare, Provider domain experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
