Position Overview:
We are looking for a SailPoint Support Engineer to be a part of our team of client-facing experts to help drive support processes, customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional that possesses a commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills are a must. Candidates with demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities, adapt well to changing priorities while remaining flexible and enthusiastic will be highly considered.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 technical support to SailPoint application customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems reported by our customers
- Good hands on experience with SailPoint IIQ 7.x or 8x
Deliver product fixes and patches to customers - Document problem solutions in company knowledge base
- Present technical concepts in a clear manner
- Meticulously document case progress and technical details throughout the support case lifecycle
- Participate in recurring support review meetings, presenting challenging cases and new ideas to support the team
- Impress our customers with your empathy, responsiveness, technical ability, and attention to details.
- Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response.
- Based on project requirement may also have to work in different US shifts (6 AM – 3 PM or 12 PM to 9 PM EST).
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of aggressive troubleshooting techniques; effective use of all resources available including documentation, online sources, testing and experimentation, and the knowledge of other technical professionals.
- Good hands on experience with SailPoint IIQ 8.0
- Candidate should have 2+ year experience/ exposure of Identity Management product - SailPoint with troubleshooting skills and L3 Support or any application support experience; preferably with enterprise security software product companies.
- Candidate should have done internship and possess software development experience with an object-oriented language.
- Proven ability to listen and empathize with the client's situation, understanding of when to employ different interpersonal interaction techniques depending on the situation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to improve yourself and fellow team members on relevant technologies.
- Preferred candidates should have experience with:
- Developing or troubleshooting Java applications in an enterprise environment
- Log4j or other logging system configuration.
- Browser compatibility testing.
- Version control systems such as Subversion (SVN)
- Java, Ant and software build-related technologies
- Experience with web technologies such as XHTML, JSF, SPML/SOAP
- Familiarity with identity management provisioning systems such as OIM, Oracle, IBM, or Novell
- Networking knowledge and exposure to application server clusters.
Desired Skills:
- 2-6 Years of experience in designing and implementing Identity and Access Management systems using Sailpoint.
- Experience on both Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platform
- Experience with creating or troubleshooting XML and JavaScript
- Experience with a J2EE / Java EE 5 Application Server such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic
- Exposure on security platform/ IAM Suite
Educational Qualifications & Certifications Requirement:
- Graduate degree in IT / Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree.
