Front End Engineer_Remote_C2C (Only USC/GC)

Dear Partners,

Greetings from TechGinia Inc.!

We have an open position for Front End Engineer. If you have any consultant available for this role, kindly send me their resume.

Position: Front End Engineer (Only USC/GC)
Location: Remote
Job type: C2C

Position:

We are looking for a frontend engineer with current experience in semantic HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, and modern CSS. You know the reasons to use traditional functions or arrow functions, how to de-structure, and can work with flexbox. You implement interfaces and extend base classes but can write a lambda when that’s required. You are comfortable with abstracting the building of interfaces and overriding CSS frameworks in maintainable ways.

Experience with a frontend framework will be helpful but not required for this project. Experience with Express.js and/or RXJS is a plus. Experience working with Agile and Waterfall is required.

What You’ll Do

·         Work with a full-stack engineer on a Node reverse proxy that serves a configured single page application into a templated page.

·         Parse JSON configurations to create a dynamic application that communicates with a black-box third-party service.

·         Modify an existing, lightweight CSS framework to better accommodate a responsive web design.

·         Work with multiple teams to debug interfaces on devices and laptops and in multiple browsers, primarily IE11 and Chrome.

·         Write documentation for the maintenance and extension of the application.

Qualifications

·         Current experience with living-standard JavaScript and Typescript.

·         Understanding of Webpack, Node and NPM.

·         Strong CSS skills, especially writing modern CSS for IE11.

·         Experience with Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket, and Gitflow.

Soft Skills

·         Eagerness to create software solutions.

·         Curiosity.

·         Enthusiasm for programming that you want to share with others.

·         An ability to communicate abstract or esoteric frontend programming concepts to non-frontend engineers and stakeholders.

·         A commitment to code craft.

·         Patience and fortitude to experiment, fail, and do better the next time.

Education

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Thanks & Regards,
