Hello Vendors Role: Senior Mainframe- Z/OS DB2/Network Consultant Location: Chicago/Downers Grove, IL Client- Please Contact me Long Term Contract Remote Until COVID Job Description:   Created architectural framework to support POC and application testing, using shared and isolated z/D&T instances to support app teams on scalable CICD Platforms, z/OS, TCPIP and UNIX System  experience working within a z/OS or IBMi environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts.  Functional knowledge, use of z/OS components and detailed knowledge of support products such as tape management, scheduling, security, monitoring systems, etc.  Built and supported z/OS/RHEL Linux cloning processes to quickly deploy environments using z/OS and Linux automation, while maintaining Golden Image distributions of software to support flexible testing and unit code development.  Drove cost savings by leveraging software decommission/software level concurrency from z/OS V22 to V24, Hardware upgrades  Mainframe, Network and Distributed technical teams (from point of departure to point of arrival) through complete z/Series hardware build in the new datacenter  Coordinated new hardware builds for CPU, DASD, Virtual Tape, Brocade Extension Directors, Data Replication activities, E2E testing, Dry Run/Migration move events, while providing 24x7 SLA’s to the steady state environments.    Mainframe Network System Programmer responsibilities are determined by departmental need and may include partial support of technology silos related to several areas such as:  Operating systems z/OS, Z/VM, Z/Linux  Network systems, CICS, MQ, Netview, Netmaster, TCP/IP, VTAM, NDM, FTP, EE, CA/Spool, LRS VPS/DRS, InfoPrint, JQP, XPTR, Connect:Direct, XCOM  Capacity Planning/Performance processor, Networks and storage  Database Systems DB2, IMS, IDMS, ADABASE, NATURAL, UDB, DATACOM      Thanks & Regards, Prabhlin Singh (Pabby) Senior Executive- Talent Acquisition 908-325-5106 X 202 908-857-4425 (Direct) 908-572-0715 (Direct) E-mail: Prabhlins@vbeyond.com Hangout: recruitervbeyond@gmail.com Join my Group: vbeyond_dailyc2crequirement_emailgroup@googlegroups.com
