Responsibilities & Skills
1. Enable the team to become CICD (Continuous Integration, Continuous
Delivery) compliant within the organization. This includes automating components, developing processes, and any other activities associated with CICD.
2. Identifies and implements test automation and Continuous Delivery
opportunities.
3. Design, build and roll-out repeatable patterns for DevOps
implementation for
o JAVA
o Sprint Boot Maven
o Angular
o Kubernetes
o Oracle PL/SQL & DB Objects
o ETL
4. Sound exposure on
o Source control repository design and implementation using Bit Bucket,
Artifactory
o Code Quality tools such as Sonar, SQLRunner
5. Scripting skills perl, python, shell, groovy
6. Orchestrator tools, Deployment Playbooks & other tools
o Jenkins
o Ansible
o Rancher
o Grafana
7. All tool sets are on Unix hence strong Unix Skills are required
8. Working with application developers and database administrators to
automate repeatable processes
9. DevOps tool research, selection, proof of concept, installation and
configuration
10. Ongoing support of developed solutions
11. Ability to identify and resolve system, subsystem and component
dependencies and concerns.
12. Assist in the product releases which includes documentation, quality
control and assistance with promotion checkouts which may be done during non-standard business hours.
