Position: UI/JavaScript Dev (Test Automation Focus)
Location: Timonium, MD 21093 (Will be 100% remote until COVID has cleared up)
Length: 6 months long term rolling contract- possibility to extend longer, based on the performance.
MUST --- Candidate have to be a SME in JavaScript. JavaScript/UI Testers or UI/Java Script Developer (Test Automation Focus) who have experience with selenium and nodejs. Job title is not important as far as they are an SME with JavaScript and have done some testing using selenium.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in JavaScript and Node.js
- Full project testing lifecycle including test case creation, script development, manual testing, black box testing, and regression testing
- Comfortable coding in JavaScript/ES6
- Automation skills and software suites including Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, Swagger UI, Postman, etc
- Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins
- Relational databases and structures in a testing sense
- Software engineering principles and RESTful web services
- General networking and website/web service hosting using *nix and Node.js
- Code version control using Git
- Common testing practices in both a highly agile and long term project environment
- Financial systems background is a plus
