Title: Adobe Tag Management Developer
Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ
Job Type: 6+ months Contract

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders to: understand their needs, define business objectives, translate business requirements into data requirements, provide implementation guidelines, and support QA/UAT process to ensure analytics tracking is implemented correctly and holistically prior to product launches
  2. Perform data quality audits, identify and troubleshoot data collection issues, suggest improvements and implement fixes, as possible
  3. Understand tracking implementations across our properties using Adobe Launch tag management
  4. Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira
  5. Support overall strategy, design & structure for web measurement and tagging
  6. Manage analytics and media tags
  7. Development of tagging solutions - determine best approach to implement specific tags
  8. Implement and test custom tagging requirements
  9. Create tagging specification and tagging validation documents
  10. Establishing and maintaining the practices and procedures that support effective and efficient tag implementation
  11. Code tag deployment for new tags or updates
  12. Test and validate deployment is performing as expected prior to and after a release
  13. Deploy scheduled tagging production releases and support related QA smoke tests
  14. Proficient in debugging code using Fiddler, Charles or Chrome developer tools
  15. Be able to analyze web traffic, click-tracking data and assist with reporting requests
  16. Individual must be able to document technical requirements in a clear and concise manner
  17. Prioritizing the work of the team to assure business tagging needs are met
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Excellent analytical, debugging and technical problem-solving skills
  2. Technical resource with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and SQL skills preferred
  3. Familiarity with Tag Management tools (Adobe DTM, Launch or other tag management platforms)
  4. Knowledge of Adobe Launch or DTM analytics development and tagging, Test and Target development and AAM audience curation and development
  5. Understanding of digital analytics, web analytics tagging and measurement techniques
  6. Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
  7. Able to take direction and work collaboratively
  8. Naturally inquisitive, critical thinker, proactive problem-solver and detail-oriented
  9. Ability to manage and balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment
  10. Can manage time effectively to consistently meet deadlines
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
Education and Experience:
  1. A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience preffered.
  2. 4-6 years' experience with Adobe Reports & implementation of Analytics (aka Adobe Site Catalyst) and tag management tools (Adobe Launch or Adobe DTM) is mandatory
  3. Experience in supporting and technical validation of digital analytics implementation solutions (namely Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target testing tool) across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
  4. Experience in developing using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery and SQL
  5. Knowledge of s_code, context variables, processing rules, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch admin panels
  6. Experience with debugging tools
