Senior Salesforce Business Analyst (Insurance)
Location: New York City, NY
 
Summary/ Description:
  • Partner with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Services to understand their goals and objectives and align system architecture to support these goals/objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and key stakeholders across the company to build Enterprise System roadmaps focused on supporting our current business needs and scaling our business processes
  • Lead and work with team of business analysts own the final delivery and success of each critical business system.
  • Establish and implement best practices with regards to CRM enterprise system.
  • Work closely with product owners to define the functional roadmap.
  • Ensure the delivery process is kicked off per release calendar.
  • Participate and lead the functional team at PI Planning.
  • Work with business and tech leads to ensure requirements are defined as per standards, Gaps identified and communicated to business
  • Drive conversations with customer's Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance. Salesforce.com (SFDC) architecture, Apex, Visual Force, Triggers, and Classes
  • Drive integrations with external applications using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies
  • Implementing system applications, software configurations, and XML or other related coding in the following CRM technological product suites - Salesforce.com, SAP, Oracle, Marketo, or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP
  • Understanding and solving business and technology challenges related to the implementation of CRM technologies, delivering Social & Mobile Enterprise platforms, and designing and developing platform-based applications that meet client business needs
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
  • Required - Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or Salesforce App Builder Certification
  • 13+ years of IT Experience
  • Minimum 8 Years of Salesforce Architecture & Business Analysis Experience in the Insurance Domain - experience with the Salesforce platform, including but not limited to Salesforce templates Communities, lookups and master detail relationships,
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com Administration with working knowledge of: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Mobile/Salesforce1, Pardot Marketing, Lightening Components
  • Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements
  • One or more Salesforce certifications, including but not limited to: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, and/or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Additional certifications, including but not limited to Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Architecture certifications are a bonus
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security and the limitations of configurations and best practices in using code
  • Strong understanding of Lightning, APEX and Visualforce
  • Experience with complex deployments, troubleshooting complex problems with order of operations (triggers, workflow and process builder) and can articulate theory behind workflow and validation rules as data quality tools.
  • Experience, leading, coaching, guiding and assisting team members to become a high performing team.
  • Experience leading and working directly with external clients / end-users and stakeholders to collect business requirements, constructing user stories, and developing acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in estimating level of effort for activities and conducting project management activities (e.g, scope management)
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including fostering professional relationships in industry and preparing responses to requests for proposals is a bonus.
