Job Title : SAP PPM Functional Consultant
Duration: 2 Years
Location: Johnston IA - 100% Remote
Required Skills : 100% remote for duration of project. SAP PPM (Project & Portfolio Management) functional implementation experience in s/4 HANA
Looking For:
- Senior level experience to act as lead with SAP PPM.
- From PPM, we are planning to contract w/ SAP to come in and do first stand up and first wave rollout.
- SAP coming in September 2020 to understand process, set up, test and training, etc. for North America rollout.
- After that, SAP is gone and this person will be the lead for the project.
- Analyst or Business Process Analyst
- Will work with PM who manages the project, this person will represent IT and work with business side and the PM to understand and document the process.
- Will be doing hands on configuration and troubleshooting.
- More of a technical lead than a functional lead.
- Functional Consultants, doing configs but not doing development.
- Will write technical and functional specifications.
- They would hand that off to a developer to go do the coding. Does not need to know ABAP.
- Wants PM experience in either ECC or S4 environment. Just need to be strong in PPM.
- Will be implementing this in S4/HANA, will not be done in the ECC system.
- Also using investment management to update the budgeting. Kind of expecting someone who is familiar with PPM has familiar with connection points of fixed assets and investment system.
- IT technical person who can come in and build versus redefine and redesign the future business process. SAP is helping with that in the current phase of this project (explore/design).
- Testing interaction with HP ALM and testing suites: person will need to be responsible for understanding testing, not a deal breaker, but any testing background on creating test scripts and running test scrips would be helpful. Using HP ALM for test scripts, testing, and defect tracking. Should be able to help create test scripts, documentation, and training.

Responsibility:
· Facilitates the definition and gathering of business requirements in the areas of PPM, Project Systems and touch point with SAP Asset Accounting module
· Development of blueprint documents, configuration logs, test cases, functional technical specifications and training material in conjunction with the product owner and internal Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to meet the business needs
· Facilitate business process mapping and business stakeholder sessions working with business leaders, IT infrastructure and development teams to ensure business requirements are properly aligned with SAP and performance designs
· Identify integration issues and develop solutions aligning with Enterprise ERP model and larger S/4 HANA team
· Effectively communicate (verbal & written) with project members including business, functional resources and cross project teams
· Conduct knowledge transfer and training to run and maintain support teams for transition after go-live and support multiple wave (regional) roll outs
· Identify dependencies on other teams and collaborate timely and effectively
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 4-6 years experience
Experience:
· Good knowledge in SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Project Systems, Fixed Assets and related Finance/Controlling modules and standard SAP workflow and Fiori My Inbox.
· Good MS Excel and Word
· Strong knowledge using HP Application Lifecycle Management (HPQC-ALM)
· Efficient time management skills
· Good interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Good organizational skills
· Self-thinker; able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate
